You're a wizard Harry

In my last post, I talked about genres of books. One of my favorites is Modern Fantasy. In our class, we just finished reading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. Let's take a quiz about it.

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.3.5
Refer to parts of stories, dramas, and poems when writing or speaking about a text, using terms such as chapter, scene, and stanza; describe how each successive part builds on earlier sections.

The students will be able to identify main ideas and main events from reading a novel.
More information on reading standards can be found here.

Educational Technology Standard #5: Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.

  • Using Google Forms was interesting to work with, but it was fun to be able to make it so easily.
  • It's really easy to navigate and to put in all the information you need!
  • I look forward to using it for more quizzes.
  • We will take the quiz, then go over the answers.
  • After reviewing the answers, we will discuss what genre this novel is in.
